Founded in April 1996 by Dr. Paul Owusu-Baah, Tema Women’s Hospital was established to provide dignified, high-quality healthcare services, particularly focused on women’s reproductive health. In 1999, recognizing the growing need for fertility solutions, we launched our Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) unit, making us the second center in Ghana to offer In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) services. Over the years, our IVF unit has achieved outstanding pregnancy success rates, comparable to international standards, by combining professional care with meticulous laboratory practices. We are accredited by the Health Facility Regulatory Agency of Accra, and our staff members are proudly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana. We also maintain professional affiliations with the Fertility Society of Ghana, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
